This might get a little Biblical, so just a little warning... But even if you aren't Christian this will apply to you.
Before we were here, God "paraphrasing" sat us down, and told us what life we were about to sign up for, all the trials, temptations, and termoil that is going to come you way.
All the CRAP that was going to get dealt you way,
All the people who were going to talk bad about you
All the things that were going to go wrong
(like not completely filing your taxes on time)...
All the BAD....
And all of the good.
All the love you are going to feel.
All the amazing experiences
All the "angels" that are in your life
All the fun you get to have
And you know what you did?
YOU CHOSE TO COME HERE
You said, BRING IT ON
You Said, I can Handle this, heck, I might even be able to handle more than this.
You said, Send me down Coach, I am ready to take on this life and PROVE that I am the boss of my destiny,
I am the controller of my feelings
I control the outcome
And here we are.
You my friend, are something amazing, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, I can promise you that life will try to pull you down, but my good friend, you tell life that you aren't going to let it,
So shrug off the negative
Focus on the positive
And above all else

This past week I shut the gym down for 3 days
revamping the workouts
doing some clean up and renovations
AND had the opportunity to sit down with a lot of my clients to go over their progress and see what we needed to do to take them to the next level. Luckily for me, I found out that we had A LOT of people having the same issues
The theme seemed to be people getting " information overload" which caused them to not progress at all.
I was asked questions about which is better this or this, when should I eat carbs, What is a good protein to eat, should I meal plan shouldn't I meal plan.
ALL OF WHICH ARE GOOD!!
But they had all of their focus on everything, INSTEAD OF THE IMPORTANT STUFF!!
I told them to focus on the basics before advancing onto hard core principles.
Just like the FITRANX system, you can't focus on level 7 if you haven't passed level 3 yet.
You have to pass level 3, then train, level 4, then train.... You get it
So if you are someone that is getting stuck in this vicious cycle, think of it like this..
You are focusing on the ENTIRE GREAT WALL OF CHINA
When you can simply focus on the bricks right in front of you. and when you focus on eat brick.. soon enough
you will have built the Great Wall of China!
